All-in-One Day Mandatory Training for Social Care Staff

This essential one-day practical London based course, equips social care professionals with the key skills and legal knowledge required to provide safe, effective care. Covering Basic Life Support, Moving & Handling People, and Fire Safety, this training ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements and workplace safety standards.

Course Content:

‍This course covers a wide range of paediatric first aid emergencies, including:

✔ Basic Life Support (BLS)
‍Understanding the chain of survival
Performing CPR on adults, children, and infants
Safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Managing choking and unresponsive casualties
Recovery position techniques and emergency response protocols

‍✔ Moving & Handling People
‍Legal responsibilities under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
Safe techniques for moving and assisting individuals
Reducing the risk of injury to both staff and service users
Use of equipment (hoists, slide sheets, transfer belts)
Promoting dignity, independence, and best practice

‍Assessment & Certification:

Ongoing assessment by the trainer throughout the day
Successful participants receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate for each module
Certificates are valid for one year and support CQC compliance
